Chinati Series I
In 1979 Donald Judd established The Chinati foundation at the former US army base of fort Russel in Marfa Texas U.S.A. It provided a permanent exhibition space for large installations of his and other artists work.
The Chinati Series I and II and The Last sunset over the earth are based on photographs of small sections of the crushed car sculptures by John Chamberlain
