I have undertaken much work for regional newspapers . The "challenge" and
equally the "pleasure" of these assignments is in trying to create something
magical and
extra-ordinary from events which are mostly ordinary and urbane. Much of the time this involves "setting up" pictures to "appear" candid and spontaneous . A press photographer can rarely afford to wait all day for the decisive moment to fall into his lap .


News , features , fashion ,sport , close-ups , travel , portraiture . A news photographer can be called upon to do almost anything . Which is undoubtedly the best part of being in this profession
