Architectural footnote:
Battersea Power Station in London, only ever had two chimneys that functioned. The other two were for the outer design by architect Giles Gilbert Scott. Just looks better, more balanced and powerful that way. On the picture you see the two functioning chimneys with smoke. The Power Station was decommissioned in two stages, in 1975 (A station) and completely in 1983 (B station).
