Our members were delighted to take part once again in our annual "battle" with Orkney Camera Club.

Each Club submitted 20 digital images to the competition, and each image was given a score out of a possible 20, by an independent judge, organised by Islesburgh this year. The final results were:

And also congratulations to three photographers from Islesburgh Photographic Club who achieved the top mark of 20 for their images: Greet Blom with her image "Purple sandpiper"; Stuart Hubbard with his image "Shocking"; and Colin Smith with his image "Eela Water".

The judge's favourite was "Smokey rainbow of light" by Sheila Moodie from Orkney Camera Club, with a mark of 19.

In this gallery are the twenty images submitted by Islesburgh Photographic Club for the competition. The score out of 20 achieved by each image is shown in brackets after the title in each case.
