Highland Challenge 2017
It was a pleasure for the members of Islesburgh Photographic Club to take part once again in the annual Highland Challenge competition, along with another eight clubs from the North of Scotland. Each club submitted ten images to the competition, and each image was awarded a score out of 20 by an independent judge. Islesburgh's ten images are shown here, and in each case the score out of 20 is shown after the title.
Islesburgh was delighted to be placed 2nd (last year 3rd equal with Nairn). And congratulations to Dingwall for winning first place.
In addition, Islesburgh Photographic Club is proud to announce that Austin Taylor won the trophy for best Monochrome Digital Image with his portrait photograph "In".
